This full-day Ayder Plateau tour from Trabzon offers a refreshing escape into the lush landscapes of the Black Sea region, combining the natural beauty of Firtina Valley and Ayder Plateau in one well-planned itinerary. We depart at 09:00 AM, enjoying a scenic drive along the coastal road surrounded by vibrant green hills. You can easily join the tour from your hotel in Trabzon or a designated meeting point.
Our first stop is the picturesque Firtina Valley, famous for its rushing river and dense forest scenery. During this short break by the riverside, you can take in the peaceful atmosphere and capture beautiful photos. Guests seeking adventure may choose to experience optional activities such as rafting, zipline, or the giant swing (available at an extra cost).
We then continue toward Ayder Plateau, located at approximately 1,400 meters above sea level on the slopes of the Kaçkar Mountains. Upon arrival, we visit the stunning Gelin Tulu Waterfall, cascading from a height of nearly 50 meters. From the nearby Glass Viewing Terrace, you can admire the impressive waterfall scenery and take memorable photos from above.
The program continues with a visit to the Ayder Viewing Terrace, where you can observe the panoramic mountain views and gain insight into the local highland lifestyle. After this stop, free time begins in the Ayder center. During this time, you may stroll among traditional wooden houses, explore small local shops, or taste regional Black Sea dishes at nearby restaurants while enjoying the cool mountain air.
Around 4:00 PM, we gather for the return journey to Trabzon, arriving back in the city center in the evening and concluding our tour.
