Our Uzungol Full-Day Group Tour from Trabzon offers a comfortable and well-organized way to discover one of the most iconic natural landmarks of the Eastern Black Sea region. The journey begins from Trabzon city center and designated meeting points. As we travel along the scenic Black Sea coastline, we make short cultural stops that introduce the region’s traditional craftsmanship. In Sürmene, you will learn about the area’s well-known knife-making heritage. We also visit a local tea factory, where you can discover how authentic Black Sea tea is produced and enjoy a freshly brewed cup. These visits are brief and informative.
Leaving the coast behind, we continue inland through the lush Solaklı Valley before reaching Uzungol, located approximately 1,100 meters above sea level. Surrounded by pine forests and mountain slopes, Uzungol Lake is one of the most photographed destinations in the Eastern Black Sea region and a highlight of many Black Sea itineraries.
Upon arrival, we first explore the main attractions together as a group. The program includes visits to the Observation Terrace, the artificial waterfalls built to preserve the lake, and walking areas along the lakeshore. During this guided exploration, there are photo stops and short explanations about the region.
After the group visit, you will have free time that includes your lunch break and personal exploration. You may dine at one of our recommended restaurants or choose any lakeside café of your preference. This time can also be used to walk around the lake, relax in the fresh mountain air, or enjoy panoramic views at your own pace.
At the end of the program, we return to Trabzon, and the tour concludes at your original meeting point or hotel.
